The Story

The Knights Templar were a powerful crusading order of knights founded in the 11th Century with many of their number recruited from England and France. There are many Templar castles and churches throughout England including the Temple Church in London, made famous in The Da Vinci Code.

Our Knights Templar Dagger is constructed in the world famous Art Gladius sword factory in Toledo, Spain. Toledo has a reputation for producing some of the finest swords in Europe and has been the centre of sword production for centuries.

It is one of our best-selling daggers and is particularly favoured by Freemasons and Templars. The Spanish stainless steel blade is topped by a brass plated crossguard with ornate dog-faced quillons and simple cross pattée decoration at the centre. The Templar Cross is also featured at the centre of the pommel and is surrounded by the Latin/Greek text “Sigillum Militum Xpisti” translating as “The Seal of a Soldier of Christ”.
